The Hollywood Community Foundation is committed to empowering the Hollywood community through impactful programs that address social issues, promote education, and provide critical resources where they are needed most. One of our key priorities is supporting essential services impacting local fire stations and the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD), especially in the wake of recent natural disasters.

Following the devastating wildfires in January of this year, the Hollywood Community Foundation took swift action to provide emergency relief and resources to local fire stations and the LAFD, in gratitude and support of the swift response to the Sunset Fire and protection of our historic neighborhood. Our efforts included financial contributions to help replace damaged equipment, fund essential supplies, and support the well-being of firefighters who tirelessly worked to protect our community. By collaborating with community leaders and public safety organizations, we ensured these brave first responders had the resources they needed to continue safeguarding Hollywood residents.

In addition to supporting emergency services, the Foundation continues to fund programs that uplift youth development, education, and the arts. Our grants empower non-profits that provide mentorship programs, after-school activities, and scholarships, ensuring Hollywood’s future generations have access to opportunities for growth and success. We are also committed to supporting senior programs, homelessness prevention initiatives, and community beautification efforts. These initiatives aim to create a healthier, more inclusive environment where residents can thrive. By investing in these critical services, we are helping to build stronger connections within the community while ensuring vulnerable populations receive the support they need.
